The practice of Astanga yoga is an ancient and powerful discipline for cultivating physical, mental and spiritual growth. Progressive techniques of breath, posture and movement, cleanse, stretch and strengthen the body. It focuses and calms the mind, and a deeper experience of the self becomes possible through consistent practice.
Yoga means to yoke or to harness. In philosophical terms it means a refined rejuvenative reunion with "self". Yoga is a journey of self-discovery.
