Upcoming Course dates:

Beginner Kickstart Course: The quickest route to help build a regular yoga practice. No previous experience needed.

The advantage of the Beginner Kickstart course is you learn together as a group, starting from the fundamentals of the Ashtanga yoga sequence. Your teacher will take you step-by-step breaking down specific postures and expanding your awareness of working with the body as a whole through the breath and movement. After 4 weeks, you will be well on your way to understanding your own body, equipped with a focused self-practice that you can continue in any Mysore class or practice at home.

This course is suitable for all ages and no previous yoga experience is required.

If you can’t find a course time to suit you, you can still learn in the traditional way by attending Mysore classes. Please ask one of our friendly yoga teachers or call (08) 9779 9977 for more information about this option.

Yoga at Samudra:

At Samudra, yoga is the focus and it's all about fun and learning. More than just yoga poses, we draw from the traditional practice of Ashtanga yoga, which can provide a foundation for living and a constant direction in your life.

The practice of Ashtanga yoga is an ancient and powerful discipline for cultivating physical, mental and spiritual growth. Progressive techniques of breath, posture and movement, cleanse, stretch and strengthen the body. It focuses and calms the mind, and a deeper experience of the self becomes possible through consistent practice.
