Mysore style is the traditional way to learn and practice Astanga yoga. In a Mysore Class the student evolves a self-practice routine based around the capabilities of their own bodies. The teacher works one on one with each student and new postures are learnt as they are ready. A three month commitment is required and attendance is typically 5 (or 6) days per week allowing for one rest day.
We believe yoga is a life practice to help us cope with the changing nature of the mind and body. To experience feelings of openness, of strength, heat, mobility, flow, vitality, clarity and effortless effort you will know that yoga is for life.
